Central America is a region situated between the North and South America and formed by seven countries: Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. This region is characterized by its geographic variety including rain forests, volcanoes, mountain chains and beautiful beaches on the both coastlines of the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Central America has varied cultures and languages including Spanish, English and original Indian languages. The region is famous for its historical heritage including old Mayas´ and Aztecs´ civilizations and also as a popular target for tourists coming to discover its natural beauties and cultural richness. Central America is also an important trade and agricultural region with the significant production of bananas, coffee and other crops.
