Asia

Asia is the world´s largest continent lying between Europe in the west, the Pacific Ocean in the east, the Indian Ocean in the south and the Arctic sea in the north. This continent is famous for its immense variety of geography, culture, languages and religions. It comprises of different regions like The Himalayas, the desert Gobi, rainforests in the southwest Asia and steppes in Eurasia. Historically Asia had been a cradle of many ancient civilizations including Mesopotamia, India and China. It has a rich cultural and historical heritage and is a home of various religions such as Buddhism, Islam and others. Asia plays a key role in the global economy, whether it is the production, trade or the technological development. This continent has a great impact on the world events and is a home of more than 4.6 billion people that makes it the most populated continent of all of them.
